Who we are

To put the bounty and the health of our land, our only commonwealth, into the hands of people who do not live on it and share its fate will always be an error. For whatever determines the fortune of the land determines also the fortune of the people. If history teaches anything, it teaches that. [Wendell Berry]

grainLift Africa Technologies is a technology consultancy and services provider company based in Centurion, South Africa. Lift Africa Technologies introduces cutting edge technologies and deliver problem specific solutions. Our focus is the transformation of highly specialised scientific and engineering knowledge into practical, sustainable and cost-effective solutions for a broad range of clients. In particular we are focussed on technology solutions in Agriculture, Water Management and Energy.

Radical Agriculture

The most important precondition for survival in Africa is the access to water – safe drinking water and sufficiently enough to sustain agriculture activities.
In order to engage in other activities, to move further than subsistence, the next precondition is the access to energy.
Hence, NOPIs focus is to provide Water and Energy
NOPI does not only have a sustainable view on agriculture but also suggests radical solutions to an often (hopeless) situation, hence: Radical Agriculture!

green earthCorporate and Social Responsibility

When the two preconditions Water and Energy are met NOPI offers a range of social development schemes to empower to local people –. These schemes are built on Holistic principles to ensure that local people control their development process. However, we offer and assist in all levels of the scheme, from Project Management, Funding of program to Marketing and Sales of produce.
primarily into areas of severe poverty.

These technologies have been carefully selected (and sometimes specially developed) to enable the people in these communities to do two things:
a) To create profitable and successful business enterprises, &
b) To produce products, tools, and machines that will improve the life and the livelihoods of people in poverty.
